It was a bittersweet moment in the Beach household recently when my oldest son signed his letter of intent to play lacrosse at his future university. It helped me realize that not only does this signify a major personal life transition, but it also signifies a pretty big professional transition as well.

My business has evolved as my children have grown. Each stage of their lives has been reflected in how I structured my business and now the time’s come for me to think about the next evolution.

The great news is, once you're over forty, it only becomes easier to start and have a successful business.

Take a listen to this week's episode to found out the statistics that back that statement up and why the world needs you to stop being intimidated by the idea of starting a business midlife.

Episode Highlights:
  1. The five steps to launch your business midlife.
  2. A breakdown of the numbers for midlife entrepreneurship.
  3. How you can become a much-needed midlife influencer.

According to our guest this week, speaking is 20x more powerful for growing your business than online marketing.

So, if you’ve ever imagined yourself standing on stage speaking to a room full of people, but you have no idea how to make that happen, this episode is for you.

Pete Vargas teaches people how to grow their business and spread their message through stages. In 2003, his life was deeply impacted by one man who was speaking on-stage and he’s been dedicating his life to the power of stages ever since.

Pete and his team have booked over 47,000 stages worldwide and generated tens of millions of dollars in revenue through those stages. In 2016, Pete founded Advance Your Reach; a company with a mission to impact one billion lives through one million stages across seven spheres of influence.

Pete believes your signature talk is the most powerful marketing tool you have and that stages are the fastest way to grow your business.

I’ve personally utilized Pete’s strategies to grow my own business through speaking and I’m thrilled to have him on the show to share his wisdom with you as well.

Episode Highlights:
  1. Pete’s four tips for overcoming your fear of speaking on stages.
  2. Pete’s four-part framework for using stages to grow your business.
  3. The power of sharing your message in relation to your overall purpose with your business and life.

Episode Highlights:
  1. The three components of rolling out your new brand.
  2. The importance of making sure your brand experience matches your brand’s visuals and messages.

Today, we’re continuing our three-part branding conversation with Elizabeth McFadden.

Not only has Elizabeth been such an important asset to the development and growth of my own businesses, but she’s single-handedly responsible for the messaging behind the entire new industry of baby planning and parent coaching that I helped create back in the mid-2000’s.

In last week’s episode, Elizabeth taught us all about what branding is and who it’s for. This week, she’s teaching us the next section of the fundamentals of how to develop your brand so that you can make money, become known, and attract the perfect clients to your business like a magnet.

Episode Highlights:
  1. A breakdown of the components of a brand strategy.
  2. The exact steps to take yourself through the branding template and process.
  3. How to know when to be clear and when to be clever with your messaging and branding.

Our guest for the next three episodes taught me everything I know about branding.

With over twenty years of experience, Elizabeth McFadden has successfully positioned small-to-mid-sized businesses in the marketplace by developing brand strategies, engaging copy, and executing marketing and media plans.

Elizabeth’s current role at Novella Brandhouse involves leading the entire branding process and the marketing strategy side of what they do and overseeing their day-to-day operations.

Elizabeth is also the mom of three boys, like me, and we’ve even taken our families on hikes together here in the mountains of Colorado.

Episode Highlights:
  1. How Elizabeth grew her company from a home-based, online business to where it is today with a team based out of Kansas City while raising three young boys.
  2. A breakdown of the different components of a brand.
  3. The fundamentals of big business branding for smaller entrepreneurs.

As entrepreneurs, we place incredibly high demands on our body and often give it very little in return.

Earlier this year, my body decided it had had enough. For the first time ever, my body couldn't keep up with what I was demanding of it.

That's why I'm so excited to bring you my guests for this week!

Tah and Kole Woody have a combined 25 years in emergency medicine, 17 years in educating professionals about addictions, and 14 years in personal training and body alignment.

They’ve also worked with New York City’s high-stressed entrepreneurs to help them identify what’s going on inside their body to relieve stress and help them have different modalities they can do in order to understand their own bodies cues of when disease is coming and start to heal themselves before that happens.

This isn’t the typical self-care, make sure you get good sleep, and go to the gym advice. This is bio integration. Take a listen to find out exactly what that means.

Episode Highlights:
  1. How we’re physically affected by the situations we’re in every single day.
  2. Solving the disconnect between your business and your body so they’re both growing together.
  3. Five investments you can make to align with your body.

There's a lifestyle entrepreneur movement happening. Each year more and more families are pulling their kids from traditional schools for two reasons:

1) The system isn't preparing their children to be entrepreneurial independent thinkers.
2) The traditional school system is cramping their family's desire for time and location freedom.

In this disruptive episode, we dive into the difference of homeschooling, unschooling and traditional education, how each is affecting our kids and if it's time for you make a change for your lifestyle, kids and future.

I also share behind the scenes of how we're navigating these questions in our family and how we handle three kids who thrive in three separate structures.

Episode Highlights:
  1. The difference between homeschooling and unschooling.
  2. The business model of homeschooling or unschooling and whether it might be a good fit for your family.
  3. How both Otakara and I are navigating these disruptive waters with our own children.
