Are You Ready to Merge Your Personal Style With Your Personal Brand?

In last week's episode with Clarissa Grace, you learned that I have some serious styling issues.

Give me some board shorts, a tank top, and flip flops and I am one happy girl.

Unfortunately, that doesn't exactly scream professional.

Is it possible to find that balance between being comfortable with your personal style and showcasing the best of who you are in your personal brand?

In This Episode:

If I thought the first part of the interview was uncomfortable, I was in for a rude awakening in the second half.

Clarissa works her magic by walking me through two different road maps to really break down the reasoning behind my personal style and explains how I can blend that seamlessly with my personal brand.

The great thing about this episode is that you're getting a raw peek into the process Clarissa takes her clients through so you can begin making some changes to your own personal style today.

In this episode you'll learn:
  1. How my childhood experiences have an impact on my personal style as an adult.
  2. The exact questions Clarissa asks her clients to help them learn to merge their personal style and brand.
  3. The incredible resource Clarissa's created to help you effortlessly reflect your personal style in your personal brand.

What Does Your Style Say About Your Personal Brand?

I'll be honest ... I'm more comfortable in flip flops and a bathing suit than I am in what most people would consider appropriate professional attire.

I even had a PR person tell me they couldn't work with me because my personal style fits in more at the beach than in the board room.

It's just who I am.

But ... is that negatively impacting my businesses?

In This Episode:

I first met Clarissa Grace about a year ago and I'm thrilled for you to meet her as well.

Clarissa has a passion for fashion and, at one point in time, she even had her own thriving clothing label.

Now, Clarissa helps female entrepreneurs find their dazzling core of confidence by merging their personal style with their personal brand.

In this episode you'll learn:
  1. How the tragic experience of losing both her father and son in a two-week period shaped Clarissa's career and future
  2. How Clarissa knew she wanted to create her current business around her family and her ideal lifestyle
  3. Why the topic of blending your personal style with your personal brand is so incredibly uncomfortable for me

You've just read "Crush It" by Gary Vee...

You're all fired up.

It's time to lay it all on the line.

It's time to be your brand and share your message.

And then...

Someone pukes on you.

You have to break up a fight over legos.

Or leave your whiteboard to take your kid to dance.

Welcome to parent entrepreneurship!

But guess what...

Your reason can't be your excuse.

In This Episode:

Gary Vaynerchuk is an expert at entrepreneurship, so I jumped at the chance to check out his latest book, Crushing It!: How Great Entrepreneurs Build Their Business and Influence-and How You Can, Too.

Truth is... this book made pick up my big-girl-britches and get my act together.

When I first started listening I got a little pissed. Gary shares how spending hours on twitter and publishing massive content on a regular basis is the way to go...

I immediately had thoughts like:

"You have no idea what it's like to grow a business with babies at your feet"

"Yea right... 11 hours a day on twitter. Whatever..."

"There is no way I can apply these strategies..."

And then I told my self to shut up and listen.

And instead, I developed serious strategies that would allow me to "Crush It" with kids, and not allow my reasons to become my excuses.

So tune in with me and let's "Crush It"

In this episode you'll learn:
  1. Four different strategies to crush it as a parent entrepreneur
  2. Why you should read this book if you're on a relentless pursuit of gaining control over your own life
  3. How this book inspired me to make changes in my own business
